In silver, a cross with red enamel and white enamel borders, the obverse medallion features red cross on white field, encircled by the inscription PATRIA AC HUMANITATI, a green enamelled wreath sits atop the arms denoting military division, the reverse medallion bears the dates 1864 1914, suspended from the original white and red striped ribbon, measures 36. 9 mm (w) x 48. 5 mm (h), enamels intact, showing light wear, remains in very
