Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s M43 Field Cap Auction Constructed of silvered nickel silver(Waffen SS Einheitsfeldmtze). This is an extremely well preserved Waffen SS M43 field cap, constructed of field grey gabardine wool. The crown of the cap is fully lined with a band of white piping, indicating infantry personnel. The cap features fold down side panels providing neck and ear protection for the wearer which, when not in use, are rolled up and fastened together by two pebbled magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal
