Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with device, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion overlaid by a wreathed and silvered German national
