Of French manufacture, in toned silver, measuring 42. 8 mm in diameter, hallmarked on horizontally pierced ball suspension with boars head denoting French small silver guarantee post 1838, with contact, on period ribbon, good fine. Footnote: During 1896, the aged Li Hung Chang became the first Qing Dynasty Minister to begin his world tour with a visit to Russia to represent China at the Coronation of Tsar Nicholas II, accompanied
